SUN GLASS HISTORY
Our Story
Learning about a company is important, because good history shows consistency to a local community such as ours here in Farmington, NM. Here is a short snippet of our story.
Sun Glass was founded in Farmington, NM by N.L. Garrett Sr. in 1952. The business was then purchased by Cliff Freeman and James Newlun in 1999. Then in the fall of 2008 Cliff Freeman (father) and Clint Freeman (son) purchased James Newlun’s shares of the business making it a true family owned and operated business.
The business has enjoyed a great, long-term relationship with Farmington and the surrounding area. As the community has grown, Sun Glass has also grown to be the largest glass shop in the Four Corners Region.

Our residential department provides the region’s largest inventory of flat glass and inhouse insulated glass unit fabrication. This means customer fabrication in a timely manner. Our installers to do a stunning job with your home install. All our windows come with a 1-year standard warranty, and many come with a manufactures warranty – some as long as 10 years!

We just replaced all 17 windows in our home by Sun Glass. The customer service was great. The Anlin windows are beautiful, well designed, and have decreased the outside heat and noise. Jeremy was fantastic with the quote process, communication, and getting us within budget for the project. The installation crew were very nice and considerate, but the installation process was rushed. There were windows installed askew (they fixed), windows left with film on them, glass in the driveway, screens were punctured, and screw plugs to hide the screws in the tracks were never installed. The overall process was good, and the company took care of all our concerns. The Anlin windows have a lifetime guarantee, and it will transfer if the home is sold. We've had 3 screens re-screened after the installation that has taken longer than expected, but overall, I would recommend Sun Glass to anyone looking to replace their windows.
